Announcement: Animal Liberation Gathering 2026

The Animal Liberation Gathering 2026 will take place from 6 to 9 August 2026 at the campsite Tot Vrijheidsbezinning in Appelscha (The Netherlands). This international event brings together activists, organisations and anyone interested in sharing knowledge, inspiration and energy for the animal liberation movement.

Over the course of four days, there will be talks, workshops and activities focused on animal liberation, activism and community building. Participants can enjoy fully plant-based meals, music performances and film screenings, as well as plenty of opportunities for meeting, collaboration and relaxation.

Whether you are already active in the movement or simply want to learn more about animal liberation, everyone is welcome to join this weekend of inspiration, connection and action.

Call for contributors
Would you like to share your knowledge or experience? We are looking for people who want to give workshops, presentations or discussions related to animal rights, activism, social justice, or community organising. Contributions can be theoretical, practical, creative or interactive, all ideas that support learning and empowerment are welcome. Call for volunteers

The gathering is run entirely by volunteers, and your help is essential to make it a success. We are looking for people to assist with cooking, logistics, information points, cleaning, etc. If you want to contribute your time and skills before or during the event, please get in touch via our volunteer sign-up form.
